It’s almost that time again…
Everyone’s hard at work putting the final touches on the new and improved WAR Beta. With the end in sight, excitement is running very high here at EA Mythic HQ. Thanks to all the patient testers who stayed active in discussions during the downtime. Your feedback has been a critical part of this latest round of changes and improvements.

Who? Why, Paul of course! He kept going on and on about who they are and how they fight, and kept blabbering about their Hydras in the recent Play magazine article. (Sounds like he really likes them! The info’s much appreciated, Paul! :D)
Not to mention all the hints in all the Dark Elf lore snippits on the website. There’s no mention of any other potential 4th career other than the Blood Priest, but you just put that one to rest yourself!
But, yes, I suppose I am getting ahead of myself, here, aren’t I Josh. Read nothing into this speculation, folks!

I DO hope you realize that the issue was never with the “Blood Priest” name, but with it implying that the class is a Khaine-based healer, right? And by saying “There are no “Blood Priests” in WAR.” it sounds to us as “don’t be silly, of course we’re not as stupid as to include a Khaine-based healer; after all the God of MURDER would never give the power to heal others to his followers as that would be like praying to the God of Darkness to get a light bulb fixed”.
We don’t care what it’s CALLED, we care that it’s NOT a Khaine-based healer/support class. Just wanted to make that clear.

I love how Xurre always says “we” when speaking on her behalf. Most of us do not care what it is as long as it is fun. Khaine based or not. But then again, this is all prerelease drama and four months after the game launches, nobody will even remember these issues.
“We” is perfectly acceptable, because I don’t want to see a Khaine based healer either.
Josh, I thought of you more as a Dark Elf than a chaosling. Did you heal the mailman with chaos magic and are dropping a hint that the Druchii healer will have connections with chaos? Hmmmm?
