Because the Cloverfield monster turned out not to be the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, J.J. Abrams owes us something extra fancy tonight to make up for it. Now I just need to have people actually show up and drink all this Dharma booze.

Hello there! My name is Josh Drescher and I make video games. Sometimes I talk about my work here, but usually I'm just whining about movies or comics or politics. And - truth be told - I'm *PROBABLY* doing it on Twitter, rather than here.
Stay Puft would have been a much more recognizable American monster rather than the choice of the monstrosity in the movie. I personally J.J Abrams failed to produce a suitable American monster, I feel that particular monster would have been more suited for a Starship Troopers movie.
Godzilla is a great example of a national monster because if you see Godzilla once you can easily recognize it later on if you see it again. I don’t feel I could do the same with the “thing” from Cloverfield.
There is still hope to see Stay Puft again, after all they are making the Ghostbuster games and he will be in it. ^^
I’ve been avoiding Lost posts like the plague because I’m still not caught up from the break (due to the strike). They’re sitting on my computer but I just haven’t gotten around to watching ‘em yet!
Finally finished this season. Very nice wrap-up and lead into season 5!
